How pricing works

We do not publish a rate card, because content production pricing depends on what you need made. Every project is quoted against a scoped plan, so you know exactly what you are paying for.

Why we quote rather than list prices

Two briefs that sound alike can need very different productions. A thirty-second film shot in our studio and a thirty-second film shot across three locations abroad share a running time and little else. A price list would either overcharge the first or underdeliver the second. So we quote each brief against a written plan that sets out shoot days, crew, locations and every deliverable, and the quote follows that plan line by line.

We work with brands that treat content as an investment in how they are seen. If the priority is the lowest possible cost per video, we are probably not the right partner, and we would rather say so early.

What drives the cost

InfographicWhat moves a content production quote
  • Shoot days

Days on set multiply crew, equipment, location and travel costs.

  • Talent and casting

Models, actors and presenters, and how widely their images are used.

  • Locations and travel

Private venues, permits and flying our crew to your city.

  • Post-production depth

Colour, sound design, motion graphics and music licensing.

  • Volume of deliverables

The number of edits, formats, variations and stills.

  • Usage rights

Organic social in one market costs less than paid media in several.

Relative influence on a typical quote. Your brief will change the order.

The biggest lever is almost always the number of shoot days, which is why good planning saves more money than any discount. Our guides to what a brand film costs and content production cost explain each driver in depth.

Project or retainer

You can buy from us in two ways. A project has a fixed scope, such as a brand film or a launch campaign. A retainer is a monthly engagement with a fixed delivery calendar, suited to brands that publish constantly. We compare them in detail in retainer or project.

What every quote includes

  • Creative direction and a written plan agreed before any shoot.
  • Pre-production: casting, locations, permits, shot list and schedule.
  • The shoot, with crew and equipment appropriate to the brief.
  • Editing, colour, sound and licensed music as specified.
  • Review on one link, with the number of rounds agreed in advance.
  • Final files in every agreed format, with usage rights and talent releases handled.

Travel for location shoots is itemised, so you can see what the city itself adds. If you can ship products to our Punjab studio instead, we will tell you when that would give the same result for less.

How to get a quote

Email hello@contentproductioncompany.com or use our contact page. It helps to include what the work must achieve, where it will run, every format you need, your deadline, and a budget range. The range is not a trap; it lets us propose the strongest plan for the money rather than guessing. We reply within one business day, and the scoped quote follows once we have agreed the brief.

FAQ5 answers

Questions we get asked

Why don’t you publish prices?

Because the cost depends on shoot days, talent, locations, post-production, deliverables and usage rights. A scoped quote reflects what you actually need, rather than a package that fits nobody exactly.

Is there a minimum budget?

We work with premium brands on productions that are properly planned and finished. Share a budget range with your brief and we will tell you honestly whether we can deliver something worthwhile within it.

Do you charge for travel?

For location shoots, travel is itemised in the quote so you can see it clearly. For product work, shipping to our studio in Punjab can remove it altogether.

Can a retainer be paused or changed?

Retainer terms, including notice and scope changes, are set out in the agreement before we start. Most clients adjust the mix of content month to month within the same calendar.

What happens if the scope changes after we agree the quote?

We flag it straight away, explain what it affects and send a revised quote for approval before doing the extra work. Nothing is added to your bill without your agreement.
